I take a step forward hesitantly, making sure to bend over carefully as I walk through the significantly smaller door way, my massive grey furred frame proving far too big and muscular to fit properly through it as I resort to awkwardly turning my broad shoulders sideways, my bulging chest brushing along the side of the door as I eventually make my way into the living room - the very same room as the scared man standing before me.
The look on his face said it all; pale with fright and still with disbelief as he stares at me open mouthed, his entire body shaking violently, too petrified to even move. I could smell the fear radiating off of him before letting out a strained sigh of despair as I stare at him with my deep majestic yellow eyes. Penetrating his very soul.
How could he not recognise me? Was I really that different? I open up my mouth to try and say something in my defence but all that comes out is a series of soft growls and low barks, only aiding in further terrifying the horrified human as he backs away slowly from the huge slab of bone and muscle that was gradually walking towards him.
“W… What are you?” the frail best friend of the beast before him asks hesitantly as he reaches the edge of the room, pressing himself firmly against the wall in an attempt to stay as far away from the inevitable threat as possible.
Not thinking of scaring him any further I walk ever closer towards my trembling natural prey, towering over him intimidatingly I stand just a couple inches from his face as I lower my great wolf head in a sign of dominance and physical prowess.
He was absolutely terrified, his body remaining rigid as the massive humanoid wolf starts sniffing him out intently, pressing its huge snout against him as it grunts loudly in despair, unhappy with the way its prey was reacting.
As a means of somehow communicating with him I find myself lowering my huge frame to his eye level, my bold yellow eyes coming into line with his as he hesitates to open them. To scared to even look his friend in the face.
When he eventually opens his eyes the terrified human youngling lets out a small whimper, shocked as to seeing how close the massive beast was to his face, its muzzle was pretty much touching his nose as it breathes heavily on him, its foul breath washing over him like the fear he had felt just moments ago.
It wasn't going to hurt him. He could tell by the way that it just stood there, observing him, that he was not its prey. And with that, he stares deep into its eyes, leaning forward slowly as the wolf backs away slightly, not sure how the man before it would react. But before I could come to any conclusions as to what was going through that small head of his the once scared human unexpectedly summons up every last ounce of courage he had left. Not before jumping headlong at the wolf towering over him that is…

But instead of feeling the expected and sudden pain of impact I look down hesitantly to see the man standing under me. Hugging me.
“I knew it was you Callum!” the delighted young man shouts out happily, struggling to wrap his arms around the sheer thickness of my muscular chest as I let out a sigh of relief, growling softly at the warm embrace of my truly understanding friend.
He looks up at my wolfish features before staring deep into my beautiful feral eyes - the eyes of which he thought reflected something very familiar to him. As for that split second he believed that he could see past the muscle bound wolf towering over him… and into my soul.
“Check you out, Mr Big Bad Wolf!” He laughs out cheerfully as I peel back my lips, revealing my enormous set of teeth as I try my best at what would be known as the awkward lycanthrope smile.
If there was one thing I liked about Callum it was the fact that no matter how grave a situation, he could always crack a joke and lighten the mood. Even if he had just found out that his best friend was a massive, and possibly bloodthirsty, werewolf.
Without even thinking of the consequences he carefully places his hand on my gigantic muscular chest, running his hand down my fur as I find myself inexplicably growling in pleasure.
“You like that don’t you, big boy?” He chuckles happily as rubs my fur up and down playfully, stroking it as if I was just some kind of oversized dog in need of some well deserved petting.
As he continues to stroke my thick grey fur he looks up at me in surprise as he notices me lolling my long tongue out of my huge wolf maw, panting away happily as I start to murr softly whilst wagging my big fluffy tail frantically.
“I think I've just found my new favourite pet, wouldn't you agree?” He says full of joy at his new discovery as he raises up his hand, flinching slightly as I growl aggressively at the sudden unexpected movement before quickly calming down once again; realising that all he wanted to do was stroke my chin and oversized muzzle.
He had never owned a dog before but he thought it stereotypical that all canines like to have their chin scratched. And they did. Because I loved it.
It felt strange. There was no way to describe it really, the feeling of his soft hand running along my rough fur sending a sensation of pleasure down my spine as I instinctively lift up one of my hind legs, lost in the bliss of the moment as I start kicking it out against my will.
“You’re just a big soft puppy dog aren't you?” He says playfully before looking up as I lick his face in appreciation of unquestionably my best friend in the whole world.

After quite a while of stroking and petting the delighted human finally comes to a stop as he steps back from me, observing me intently. I was massive compared to him, both in size and muscle. He stood below me just under 6 foot tall whilst I towered over him at over seven foot tall. I was simply ‘amazing’.
Not wanting to break eye contact with the majestic specimen before him he sits down on the sofa carefully as he stares at me in awe, wondering what to do next.
“So… can you… um, transform back or…” He asks hesitantly, feeling kind of stupid having a one way conversation with a wolf.
But before he could say anything else I abruptly raise a hand to him, closing my eyes tightly before letting out a long sigh as all of a sudden the sound of bones cracking and flesh tearing begins to echo throughout the room, followed suit by me collapsing on all fours whilst bucking and writhing violently in pain as the concerned Callum quickly rushes to my side, scared at the sight of seeing his one and only friend in pain.
“Callum! Are you alright?! What’s happening?!” He shouts out in panic, a look of concern on his face as he places his hand on my back, feeling it bulge and tear grotesquely as he quickly withdraws it in fright.
Just as he does so I growl at him aggressively, pushing him aside forcefully for his own protection as I let out a deafening roar of excruciating agony, my muzzle painfully residing back into my skull as my teeth become blunt instruments for chewing once more, my hands and feet distorting as the thick black claws protruding out from them are replaced with simplistic human nails, the bones breaking and cracking inside as they begin to shrink in size along with the overall size of my violently mutating body - of which a sickening scream halfway between that of a wolf and a human escapes from as my shoulders slowly draw back towards each other, the thick muscle covering my body beginning to ripple and pulsate with lessening power as the veins throbbing from them slowly begin to die down, reforming the permanently enhanced and enlarged muscular features of my human form as the unforgiving transformation continues its assault on my crippled body and senses.
By this point of the perfectly precise torture all of my bones had began to break and realign themselves with no remorse for the human whose pain they were adding to as they painfully yet surely reform the smaller skeletal structure that Callum was used to seeing me in…

Minus the fact that I was completely naked.

But just as I thought the agonising pain was over I suddenly collapse on the ground in an exhausted heap, spreading out on the sweat and wolf fur covered floor as the violent body spasms begin to finally subside, instead replaced with ragged breathing as I struggle to merely gasp for air, my lungs and the rest of my vital organs still returning to their natural state. The state they were in before the extreme event simply known as ‘The Change’.
Without even needing to be taught Callum quickly rushes into my bedroom, picking up various items of clothing and a blanket to wrap me in as I shudder violently in partially dulled pain, looking around the room in confusion as I look directly at the man who was looking after me in my weakened state.
“It’s good to have you back man. You really had me worried there” The relieved human lets out a thankful sigh before patting me on the shoulder, watching me flinch at the sudden contact as I grab a hold of him tightly, my flickering yellow eyes slowly returning to their natural blue.
“So… you’re a werewolf, huh?” He asks curiously, staring at me intently as he anticipates the answer he so desperately wanted to hear.
But much to his surprise he notices me holding out my hands in front of me, turning it from front to back as the once thick majestic grey fur running along them resides back into my frail and sensitive skin, not before first letting out a sigh of relief as I open my mouth hesitantly, staring up at the suspense lined across the eager young man's face as I can't help but smile widely at the words that uttered out of my mouth.

"Yes Callum…"

"I am a werewolf."
You've just found out that your best friend is a werewolf. How the hell would you react? I honestly think Callum took it pretty well... although I would probably be shitting bricks XD

Aren’t you the werewolf here? Does it really matter what your reaction would be if the tables were turned?
